Alterna Bamboo Smooth Kendi Oil Dry Hair Mist- Spritz away the frizzes!

There are really lots of good stuffs from Sephora, and I believed most of you would have agreed with me. The brands' opening in our island had definitely brought us so much closer to some of the best and alternate European brands for skincare, makeup and even haircare. Usually the unadventurous sort, I had gradually transformed to one who is keen to try out new products introduced by Sephora, even haircare products. And if the new product proved to be so good, you can imagine that I will be hitting the roof!

And so here comes a haircare product that I adored, and is in the third bottle since I began using it around Christmas last year - Alterna Bamboo Smooth Kendi OIl Dry Hair Mist.

Beauty Trade-off: Pain for beauty?

The pain must be excruciating. Look at those toes sticking out of her strappy silver stilettos. Imagine the pain she’s bearing with, from the straps cutting into her skin in between the toes!

Caught by the dead sea

Dead sea products are not new to us, at least in Singapore and I'm sure everyone shopping in the malls would have been stopped by those pretty ladies or handsome hunk, at least once. I personally felt that they are 'hard-sellers' and will give them zero chance by stopping and listening to whatever they got to say. I guess it's also partly because there was once when I got a bad experience from one of the salespersons, who pump a product onto my hand without even asking. I thought that was plain rude.

It's actually been a long while since I last came across dead sea products. Only recently when my boss popped over to ask 'is my nail shiny?' that this thing came floating in my mind. Note: My boss is a male. Apparently he got caught by this hard-sell salesperson and was being persuaded to get a scrub. Of course, men being men he didn't get anything after trying the scrub on his nail and seeing such good results.

But up till now I still can't believe that I actually gave them a chance to pitch about their dead sea products that fine day. The worse is, I bought something without knowing if its really going to work the way I want it or not.

Make Up For Ever Sens' Eye Makeup Remover - A winner among the extravangance

I had been wondering how I should begin this post, since it had been way too long since my previous post! I'm sorry to all those reading my blog for not keeping things coming the way it should. I do receive some comments at times and I'm really thankful for them! Do keep them coming while I try to share my views on beauty products I come across.

The product that I've been wanting to talk about is this super efficient eye makeup remover from a brand I particularly like, Make Up For Ever or simply, MUFE. I've always been paying much attention to its different ranges of eye colors, especially it's cream shadow and jumbo pencils. Also, I was even more impressed when I learnt that French olympics athletes who participated in the event for synchronized swimming, used eye colors from MUFE - that shows how waterproof their products are!

Well, that aside, I decided to give this eye makeup remover a try, after using a couple of those from the drugstores. Remember I once talk about the one from Bifesta (review)? I held it as one of the best performing ones, and although this one from MUFE can be comparable, surprisingly it can work much better at times too! One thing that is deterring me from more regular purchase is it's price- it's a killer.

Time to pamper myself! And off I go for a facial treatment at Clarins Skin Spa

I had made an almost total switch to Clarins for my skincare products about three months ago and they had worked pretty well for me thus far. Hence, it is natural that I turn to them for facial treatment as well, just so as to get the most out of their products and experience their infamous Clarins touch, which comprises of the therapists’ hand techniques to stimulate, massage, lift and drain.

Yes, you will not be able to see any machinery in the treatment room – zero extraction, sans steaming of the face – the only items in the room which needs to be plug on are the hair-dryer placed in the vanity cupboard for customer’s use and the warmer bed – the latter is enough for me to feel luxurious!

NEW! Revlon Just Bitten Kissable™ Balm Stain

Alright, I’m not totally sure when this new product was launched but the only time I passed by the Revlon counter and saw this, I know I have to get it. Not that I know this will work, but it seems to be a dupe for Clinique Chubby Sticks.
